Way of the Cross: Jesus and women

Like the Mother of Christ at the foot of the cross and the women of Jerusalem, women past and present share their "nights" with us. Over the course of these 14 stations, the Word of God introduces us to the heart of Christ's Passion, and meditation takes us back to the situations in our lives: loss of a loved one, illness, injustice, abandonment... A loving response to the absurdity of evil, the Cross invites us not to succumb to revolt or resignation, but to be strengthened by the witness of women, sentinels of the invisible. With them, we proclaim our faith in the Savior's love.
