Very nice meeting at Gare du Nord station of 90% men, 70% Muslims.
No fear of women, especially "liberated" women, sitting with thermoses of tea on the floor and chatting in a natural way, we were able to exchange with everyone without constraint and humor and joy for some.
The rosary in hand intrigues and creates a bond, as Muslims also recognize it as an instrument of prayer. I asked one of them, a young guy, to tell me his prayer when he was with a Muslim "rosary". We could see that it was like a prayer of praise to the Most Holy God.
It created a bond.
In fact, I gave one to a young Ethiopian Christian woman who had Our Lady on her mobile phone. I didn't know it then, but after offering to show her the prayer to the Blessed Virgin, she showed it to me.
We then said a dozen she, the three of us and another Ethiopian Catholic, all under the benevolent gaze of Ali Muslim. They were all praying with great fervor. I felt that the Blessed Virgin, who was also a migrant, was close by.
My heartfelt thanks to my sentinel sisters for praying with me and to Martine Jack and others for this beautiful intuition. I love reaching out to people, and English obviously helps me make a connection. To be repeated without moderation, because they have everything and nothing at the same time, and all we have to do is offer Jesus, and that's how the exchange bears fruit.
